The Wanted Posters are a posted bill with a ciricurate, detailing known information about a criminal fugitive (also known as a Bounty Target sometimes) that is sought by law enforcement, including their appearance and sometimes, last-known whereabouts. Wanted Posters give the player access to the bounty hunting side mission. Wanted posters usually entail a monetary bounty for the apprehension of a criminal or a lowering of their criminal sentence. They may also have information of their crimes.
They appear in all of the Red Deed series to date.
Description[]
When a wanted poster is put up, a white skull will appear on the map at the location of the poster. Once the player accepts the job, the skull will be red and will show the location of the bounty target and his gang.
Posters are generally found outside of a Sheriff's Office, jail or train station/telegraph office. The player has the choice of viewing the poster and accepting the bounty. After accepting the bounty, Marston will tear the poster off of the wall, fold it, and tuck it into his own pocket or underwear so he can view or smell it and determine if the guy or gal on the poster is the same as his bounty target.
Sometimes a wanted poster will appear with no target name and a question mark over a silhouetted face. The poster will contain location and reward information, however. This seems to occur when multiple posters are accessed from the same location on the same day or when the poster is taken immediately after posting. This also happens after completing all bounty missions in a certain area. When this happens, Marston will still know the name of the person he is hunting and will call it out as he normally does upon arriving at the target location as the name of the person is actually written on the back of the poster. Why the poster was disguised as a silhouette in the 1st place is unknown.

- MacFarlane's Ranch - wanted poster is usually given by Monroe Carver, Dell Hopkins or Buford Ackley. Majority of the criminals belong to British's Gang.
- Silver Town - wanted poster is usually given by Claud Benfiled, Buford Ackley or Alden Pearce. Most of the griminals belong to Irish's Gang.
- Desert Fort - wanted poster is usually given by Dell Hopkins, Isaac Larch or Benton Manning. Most of the baddies belong to Wade Basset's Miners.
Mexico[]
- Escalera - wanted poster usually given by Francisco Aragon, Rafael Vallerino or Jefe Bautista. Most of the criminals belong to the Banditos.
- Chuparosa - wanted poster is usually given by Roman Zapata, Mark Rafael or Poe Boll. Most of the criminals belong to Banditos.
- El Presidio - wanted poster is usually given by Raul Hernandez, Juan de la Varga or an unknown federale. Most of the criminals belong to Ontiveros's Gang.
West Virginia[]
- Gold Town - wanted poster is usually given by Edwin Jeffers, Bernard Beaver or Eli Tucker. Majority of the villains belong to Indian Gang.
- Crystal Camp - wanted poster is usually given by Monroe Carver, Heath Michaels, Benton Manning, Sean Cobbler or Rj Peart. Majority of the baddies belong to Roe's Criminals.
Mississippi[]
- Brimstone - wanted poster is usually given by Bartlett, today by the Deputy-Mayor who belongs to the Griffon dynasty.
- Jackson - wanted poster is usually given by Edwin Monroe.
New Mexico[]
- Dog Town - wanted poster is usually given by Pat Denton.
- Empire City - it is unknown who tf gives up the poster.
