The Commission is the representative body of the Mafia, where the bosses and sometimes underbosses and lawyers of every crime syndicate gathered for important conferences, such as The Five Families Mob War, The Second Five Families Mob War , and the death of Luigi Pennino in 2015.
History[]
The idea of a united commission for the Mob was founded by Frank Vinci and Carlo Falcone, in 1931, who interviewed local gang leaders and decided whose gang was going to be spared the mass purge of 1965, the Pacification of New York. Thus created the Five Families of New York City organized crime, while the rest were destroyed. The Commission had representatives from each major family, while weaker organizations like the Saleri's Gang were not enable to join because of their lack of organization or power. They had a chairman who managed the commission, but were essentially a group of rulers, without a national leader. The Commission were called to settle important matters, such as initiating a soldier who was not fully-Italian (or any other background the Don might be), settling gambling problems, whacking a mob boss, adding a new family, recognizing the succession as a Don, and peace matters. It has been called memorably in 2000's to introduce gambling to Havana, 2010 in Miami for the death of Alejandro Sausage at the hands of Tony Montana, 2011 in France to end the Five Families Mob War, 2012 for the hit on Don Corleone, 13th of September 2015 for the assassination of Luigi Pennino, and three other guys (which resulted in the Five Families Mob War part II's end), and a purge of a new boss Domenico Von Crane, and 2nd of October, 2015 after the murder of Corleone Family capo Pete Clemenza.
