The Ortega Cartel is a gang of consisting mostly of Latino and Jamaican gangsters in the game Scarface: The World Is Yours.

The Ortega Cartel was founded early in 2004 by Manolo Ortega, a Mexican immigrant who was hooked on drugs. He sold drugs to twelve people, who became his employees when he founded his own gang. The gang trades drugs with other criminal gangs and cartels, and make a lot money, however, not as much as Sausage's Army. One of their top buyers also include Sandman's Gang and Montana Gang. The cartel is still currently led by Manolo.
Scarface[]
Ortegas are based in Cayman Islands, with numerous bases and compounds around Black Sands and Rook Island. The Firefly Hotel used to be one of their hottest brothels in town. Members of the gang can be found in Sandman's leads as enemies and the player can never interact with them at all in free-roam. Several members also carry a chainsaw, presumably to kill a trespasser in a more bloody and sadistic way, kind of like Gaspar's Gang.

Trivia[]
- This gang, along with the Blood Brothers are the only two gangs in the game to have only five character models of the members attacking the player (meaning there might appear two Silvas or Lennox's attacking Tony).
- Some members despite being Montana's enemies respect him when being talked to.
- Percy is a member of both, Ortega Cartel and Sandman's Gang.
- He is not the only character on the Wiki to be a member of two enemy factions, tho.
- If Ortegas spot Tony during a Sandman lead and he is fighting with Sausage's Army, they will always help Sausage's men instead of Tony, meaning Sausage's army and Ortega are probably allies, or both cartels just hate Tony so much.
