Call of Duty: Axis Powers is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows that takes place during World War II, and the late interwar period. It is the fourteenth main installment in the Call of Duty series, and Treyarch's second to be developed in a three-year development cycle. It is the prequel to Call of Duty: World at War, and the Black ops series, and was released on November 8, 2018. It is the first game in the series that let's the player take the role of a soldier from the axis nations of World War II in the campaign. The game, on select bundles known as the Legacy Edition, comes with a remastered version of Call of Duty: World at War, known as Call of Duty: World at War Remastered.
